Feed testing for farmers in Sano Laboratory
Sano is one of the world's largest manufacturers of mineral feeds, milk replacers and specialty products in modern animal nutrition. For over 40 years, Sano's globally networked feeding experts have been partnering with farmers to provide their expertise. At Sano, we always strive to provide our customers with the latest knowledge for successful farm management, more milk and animal welfare. On October 22, 2018, the Europe-wide Sano Laboratory was opened in Croatia. The laboratory offers feed testing according to the American CNCPS standard. The more accurately the farmer and feeding advisor know what is in each feed, the better the feeding rations can be tailored to the animals' needs. With the CNCPS feed analysis, not only the pure nutrient contents but also the availabilities in the digestive tract can be analyzed. In this way, health-endangering and sometimes expensive over- or undersupply of the animals can be avoided. After all, only healthy and productive animals ensure the profitability of an agricultural business.
